As I am sure many of you know it was Bruce Forsyth's birthday last weekend.

So I had a dig around and found this footage of him teeing off!

It  has a 5 star rating, and i am not surprised looking at his swing, which went down very well with the spectators too.

Let's hope he had a 'good game, good game!'

Pin Fashion Show

Last night dressed to a tee took to the catwalk at Millennium Point in Birmingham.

We were short listed for Pin Fashion 2008, a competition for the top new clothing companies in the West Midlands.

It was a fantastic event, and although we didn't win, it was great to see our garments on the runway for the first time!

We were really pleased with the looks we created - Spring Golf, Summer Golf, Hanging At The Beach and Bar Time.

Have we played recently??
Quite frankly last Sunday was like La Manga revisited!

Richy B and I took on Coxy and Luke.  Needless to say those two didn't get a look in, Richy and I got off to a cracking start, 4 up after 4.

I can't say it was a memorable front 9, but Thorpe took the back 9 apart.... 2 over, yes I said 2 over.... I'm still smiling! Cox didn't show up to work that day.... He may well still be in hiding....

Up for playing this Sunday if you want? Think Coxy might want some revenge....

The Loser

He shot 11 points on the front 9 and 25 on the back 9.  It's the first time I've seen him break 90!

We were only 1 down at the turn but could not keep up with Thorpe on the back 9.  I can't imagine he'll ever play like that again! He hardly missed a putt!  Even his chipping was OK.

Bad day at the office for me only 25 points playing off 14.  I just never really got going.

As you can imagine he did a lot of whistling and looking very pleased with himself - very annoying.  I had a lot of Pizza in the evening.

Bandit Alert!

Sam warmed up for the forthcoming golf tour to Morocco with some quality play as he took me to the cleaners at Coventry Golf Club

I was hoping for some mercy being my birthday and all that, but instead i witnessed a ruthless display that was too hot to handle.

Sam is looking odds on favorite for the tour in March as he pushes for back to back victories having won in Wales last time out. I think it's time to send an email to the handicap committee..

Learning From Luke

I have played a couple of rounds recently and I am pleased to report a couple of victories. However, I think my swing is still far from right!!

So I dipped into You Tube to find some video of a good swing to learn from, and of course I found some footage of Luke.

It's a pretty sweet swing, although I am not so sure about his trousers!

Anyway, I just checked the World Rankings and he's 19th in the world at the moment, which i was a bit surprised at.

So let's hope he climbs back up the rankings in 2008 and of course has a great Open!
