Morocco 2008

Tourshirts

The shirts have been embroidered and the bags are packed - we are heading off to North Africa for golf tour!

Our itinerary is below, some great courses, but a couple of early tee off times could be testing!

Thu 20 Mar, 9.00 am - Golf Dar Es Salam (Blue), Rabat

Fri 21 Mar, 9.00 am - Golf Dar Es Salam (Red), Rabat

Sat 22 Mar, 9.48 am - Royal Golf Marrakech, Marrakech

Mon 24 Mar, TBC - Golf Ouarzazate, Ouarzazate

Tue 25 Mar, 9.30 am - Palmeraie Golf, Marrakech

Wed 26 Mar, 10.10 am - Amelkis Golf, Marrakech

I am defending champion - Good Things Come To Those Who Wait...

Can I retain? It has only been done once in the history of the tour and it's going to be hard as the handicap committee is notoriously tough on past winners.

I'll let you know how we get on!

Closed For Easter

Just to let you know we will be closed from Wednesday 19th March for a week.

So back open on Thursday 26th March.

Have a good Easter and try and get some golf in!

Live In The Present

Sometimes a Saturday evening text message says it all. Mine went something like this.

Try not to think about that putt too much, the 18th green can be a lonely place! Live in the present. S

The recipient was Matt, who missed a 2 footer on the 18th to halve the hole and the match.

Not to worry, him and James had only been leading Richy and I all the way round till the 18th tee...a tough one to lose!

The standard was high though, and 10.4 may be possible - just a little work on the short putts needed...

Keep It Straight Bruce!

It seems Bruce Forsyth may not have been driving quite as well as we thought - Points Make Prizes.

Joe found this in the rough at Wentworth!?

Leicestershire here we come

Will_park_2

dressed to a tee is on the move and we are now in our first pro shop in Leicestershire at Willesley Park

If you are in the neighbourhood it is well worth getting the sticks out and playing a round. Willesley is one of the best tracks in Leicestershire.

The course was designed by the legendary James Braid and it demands pin point accuracy over a mix of heathland and parkland, with stunning views to match.

Be sure to add it to your list.
