Fernweh

Our Friends at Kidswing International just sent us these pics of the golf camps they did this summer.

They have been having a great time and getting out and about with a camp in Germany and also in Andalusia in Spain. They stayed at the Spanish Disable Golf Foundation (Fundacion Espanola de Golf Especial) which is the body that does a fantastic job getting disable kids into golf in Spain.

By the sound of things golf was not the only thing up for grabs as the guys had a go at raquet ball, swimming, horse riding and even managed to watch Ireland playing Wales at Polo!

As Selina said (Chief Organiser...) "I didn't want to fly back and am still suffering from a massive "fernweh" - translated as itchy fee in English!

Thanks for the photos.

Long John

Longjohn

Recently, we donated one of our Driving t-shirts to the Honeypot Charity Golf Tournament in Provence as a prize for the longest drive competition.

And now we have our winner...John Wright!

On the 18th hole Long John took out the driver and went big with a 278 yarder. Our sources tell us that he was using a Callaway ball which makes me think he could have gone 300+ with a dressed to a tee 'Boom Boom' special?!

Anyway many congratulations to John who looks great in his new t-shirt.  And well done to Honeypot who raised £95,000 for their great cause. You can find out more about the work they do for severely disadvantaged young children in Britain here.

Selina Gets A Bargain

Selina got more than she bargained for when she bought an ABC t-shirt from us at The London Golf show - in fact she got all our contacts from the show!

Not a great addition for Selina, it has to be said, but pretty important stuff for us. So thanks, Selina, for returning it all.

Selina works for KidSwing International in Berlin, where she teaches golf to sick and physically challenged children. As well as enjoying the golf, the kids have been taught to do a bit of modelling by Selina. Looking good, guys.
